Alistair Wilson (Atila)

For two decades, Alistair has been making bright, bold, vivid work from canvases in his studio to the streets of London and across Europe. Specialising in spray paint, his work combines a love for graffiti, street art, fine art and illustration.
His work explores inner-city life, with the vibrant forms and colours reflecting the chaos, hustle and harmony of the south east London streets he grew up in.

Alistair’s portraits capture everyday people grabbing a moment’s pause from their hectic lives, as well as celebrating figures including the late Mc Skibadee, Ty, David Bowie, Nina Simone and the heroic workers of the NHS. His work merges the high energy of painting on the streets with the more harmonious approach of the studio.
Since graduating from Manchester Metropolitan University in Fine Art: Painting in 2009 – a course that allowed him to spend a year studying in Amsterdam – he has focused on his artistic practice, as well as working in education.

This has led to numerous international projects, commissions and exhibitions, and he has gone on to run art workshops in schools, community centres, charities, and prisons. He has always found creating to be a wonderful form of therapy and self-exploration, and believes that it can bring positive change to others if they are just given the right tools.

Miguel Hcuar

Miguel Hcuar is a contemporary artist working and living in the city of London, born in Zaragoza, north of Spain, in 1987. The influences that nurture his work come from a mixture of everyday personal life experiences and the ’90s culture he was raised in. He has worked with different techniques throughout the years but he´s most comfortable with acrylic and spray paint nowadays.

Whilst having grown up in a family that was close to the arts and crafts world, he developed an early interest in drawing when he was a child. After spending more than ten years studying different art and graphic design courses, he has found himself working comfortably with brushes and paint; merging his works with detailed, busy, and complex compositions that include hidden messages meant to impact the public and make them elaborate on the topic of the work that’s in front of them.

He strongly believes in the use of creativity to resolve and "attack" any kind of problem or situation you might find in your life, and he´s experienced how through different creative processes you can achieve things you might think unreachable.
